And Then Some is a roving musical collective bringing vibrant, rhythmic, gritty funk to Chicago. The ensemble, featuring Randy Bufanda on reeds, Erik Oldman on guitar, Paul Abella on percussion and a rotating cast of friends, play an instrumental mix of jazz, funk, soul and R&B, channeling Herbie Hancock, The Meters, Sly & the Family Stone and Stevie Wonder. Currently, home base is a number of places around Rogers Park, including Fritzy’s Tavern and Cary's Lounge, where they host a monthly Jazz Centennial series.  More to come soon!
